Colleen Mary Mallard

Colleen Mary Mallard, age 75 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, November 14, 2022, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Mallard will be conducted on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 2:00pm in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Bryan Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

She was born December 19, 1946, in Kingsley, Iowa; the daughter of the late Edward Daniel & Irene Mildred (Krause) Ryan. She was a homemaker before her retirement, as she was a x-ray technician, and hair stylist. But better known of her storytelling flair and gift of being comedic. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, then Catholic for the last 10 years.

She is survived by two children, William Mallard, Barry Mallard (Karen); brother, Thomas Ryan (Marge); four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and neighbors who became her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Allen Ladd Mallard.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm – 2:00pm on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Colleen Mary Mallard.
