Charles Warix

Mr. Charles Edward Warix, age 90 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Diversacare Healthcare in Martin. Funeral services for Mr. Warix will be conducted on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 3:30pm at Macedonia Baptist Church with Bro. Michael Julian officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery, in Kenton. He was born June 25, 1926 in Kenton, TN; the son of the late Oran and Lorena Primrose Warix. He was a self-employed pilot dusting crops, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Mt. Enterprise, Texas. He served his country with the US Navy. He is survived by daughter, Myra Bilbo (Cliff); and one sister, Freda Whitworth. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margarette Hobbs; his parents; son, Paul Warix; and brother, John D. Warix. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Kenton Chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
