Charles Rochelle

Mr. Charles Howard Rochelle, age 84, of Rutherford, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2013, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Rochelle will be conducted on February 25, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford with Bro. Joel Pigg officiating and Ronnie Minton assisting. Interment will follow in North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery of Kenton. Mr. Rochelle was born August 6, 1928, in Gibson County; the son of the late Charles Harwell and Mabel Tilghman Rochelle. He owned and operated his orchard before his retirement. He also served his country with the US Air Force. Mr. Rochelle is survived by wife, Edith Louise Sanders Rochelle; a daughter, Sandra (Harry) English; grandchildren, Cindy (Andy) Johnson, Christy (Lee) Espey; great-grandchildren, Clayton and Blakely Johnson, and Layla Lovell. He was preceded in death by a sister, Winnifred Parker. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, February 24.
