PASADENA, TX (FORMERLY OF MERRILLVILLE, IN AND KENTON, TN)
Age 80, Went home peacefully to his Heavenly Father on August 28, 2017. Everyone who met him….LOVED him. He was a faithful servant of God. He served many roles at Heritage Baptist Church in Crown Point, IN and Bethpage Baptist Church in Kenton, TN. His love for AWANA Clubs International were shown with over 40 years of service to teach children about God. Always smiling, always ready to lend a helping hand. His love of music was evident over the years but the last few years he prided himself as the harmonica player in the Front Porch Pickers in Kenton, TN.
He served from 1954-1962 as a Corporal in the USMC. His love for his Marines was shown as he was part of the Howlin Mad Detachment #93 in Indiana and the Marine Corps League Capt. Jack Holland Detachment #735 in Jackson, TN.
He was preceded in death by William G. Perryman (father); Myrtle F. Perryman (mother); William G. Perryman (brother) and Elizabeth Cox (sister) and others.
He was survived by Peggy Jo Perryman (wife of 56 years); Linda Yokovich (daughter) of Wake Forest, NC; Jeffrey Yokovich (former son in law); David Brian Perryman (son) of Lowell, IN; Jennifer Perryman (former daughter in law); Barbara L. Whitehead (daughter) (Steven) of Pasadena, TX; James Perryman (brother) (Marilyn) of Portage, IN; Ruby Murphree (sister) of Tupelo, MS; Joyce Brown (sister) of Kenton, TN. Grandkids: Kelsey Yokovich; Allison Perryman; Hailey Perryman; Brooke Perryman; Steven Whitehead Jr; Briann Mesman; Logan Whitehead. Numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and many friends.
He will be greatly missed by all but knowing we will see him again one day puts a smile on our faces.

Cremation followed by Memorial Service at Parkgate Community Church, Pasadena, TX on October 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Memorial Service and burial at Bethpage Baptist Church, Kenton, TN on October 21, 2017 at 10:15 AM.
