Mrs. Carolyn Ruth Jones, age 72 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Humboldt General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be conducted on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Marlon Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, in Bradford. She was born April 7, 1945 in Tiptonville, TN; the daughter of the late Jessie Clay Terry and Ruth Moore. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Chris Jones; one sister, Jean Bollen; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Jones; and two sons, Brian Jones and Bradley Edward Jones. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
