Carolyn Horner

Mrs. Caroline “Carolyn” Annette Taylor Horner, age 79, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on February 19, 2015, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Horner will be conducted on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Bro. Mark Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery of Yorkville, Tennessee. Mrs. Carolyn Horner was born April 30, 1935, in Kenton, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Clarence Raymond and Opal Gray Beckom Taylor. Mrs. Horner retired from Pyrotek Inc. as a machine operator and was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Horner are her children, George Horner and wife Judy, Johnny Horner and wife BeBe, Annette Moore and husband Gary, Brenda Castleman and husband Tommie; brother, Bob Taylor; seven grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Joe, Wilburn, and Bill Taylor. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, February 22.
