Carolyn Ayers

Mrs. Carolyn Louise Underwood Ayers, age 70, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on February 25, 2015, at her home. Memorial services for Mrs. Ayers will be conducted on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford. Bro. Andy King will be officiating. Mrs. Ayers was born November 10, 1944, in Gibson County, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Arthur and Ruby Bratcher Underwood. She retired from Brown Shoe Company and worked at the Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council. Mrs. Ayers is survived by her husband, Warren “Jr.” Ayers; daughters, Penny Keen and husband Ricky of Humboldt, and Sandy Partlow and husband Michael of Dyer; grandchildren, Jessica, Rachel, Niki, Tanya, David, and Eden; also great-grandchildren, Olivia, Layla, Jakob, Brylee, Baylee, Carter, and Nash; sister Pauline McCall. She was preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to: Hospice of West Tennessee 1804 Highway 45 Bypass Jackson, TN 38305 The family will receive friends from noon until service time on March 7.
