Carlos William Coble

Mr. Carlos William Coble, age 95 of Trenton, Tennessee, peacefully went to be with his Savior, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at home, with his wife of 74 years by his side. Funeral services for Mr. Coble will be conducted on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2:30 pm in the chapel of the First Assembly of God in Dyer with Bro. Mark Kirkpatrick and Bro. Myron Greer officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

He was born October 15, 1925 in Lobeville, TN; the son of the late Harvel & Lena Hickman Coble. He ran Cobles Bros. Garage in Rutherford, farmed, and duck guided in the Trimble Bottoms, as he loved to duck hunt there and at Reelfoot Lake.  He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Dyer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Coble; two daughters, Diane Duncan (Ralph) of Thompson St., TN, Loretta Petty (Jerry) of Trenton; brother, Luther Coble; six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Dale Coble; sisters, Ada Belle Swindle, Estelle Shelly, Ollie Pearl Morris, Pauline Isbell; and brothers, Sam Coble, and James Coble.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the First Assembly of God in Dyer.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the First Assembly of God in Dyer.  Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Carlos William Coble.
