Mrs. Carlene Jowers Meadows, age 76 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on February 4, 2023, at her home.  Funeral services for Mrs. Meadows will be conducted on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 2:30pm in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Rutherford with Bro. Ken Roberts officiating. Entombment will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens in Union City, Tennessee.

Mrs. Meadows was born October 15, 1946 in Union City, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Carl and Magdalene Maness Jowers.  She was a retired tire sorter and press operator with Goodyear Tire and a member of Lowrance Chapel Church of Christ. 

Mrs. Carlene Meadows is survived by her husband, Johnny Meadows; one daughter, Elaine Ray (Steve); two sons, Scott Moore and Mark Meadows (Bridget); eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Dean Jowers (Regina) and Danny Jowers; and one sister, Kay Meadows.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Annie Tidwell.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Monday, February 6, 2023, and again from 9 am until service time on Tuesday, February 7, 2023; in the Rutherford Chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
