Bonnie Dodd

Dyer - Mrs. Bonnie Belle Alexander Kemp Dodd, age 101, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed from this life on January 8, 2010, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Dodd will be conducted on Wednesday, January 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bells Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Dyer with Bro. Steve Skelton officiating. Interment will follow in Bells Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Bonnie was born December 31, 1910, in Mason Hall, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Lillie Jane Charles Alexander. She was a retired school teacher. Mrs. Bonnie also belonged to the Mason Hall Community Club, taught Sunday School and Bible School. Mrs. Dodd is survived by her son, James H. Kemp and spouse Jennifer; one brother, James Alexander and one sister, Irene Galloway, also numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Frank Kemp and her second husband, Jake Ward Dodd. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, at Bells Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Dyer.
