Bobby Gene Selph

Bobby Gene Selph, age 86 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at his home. Funeral services for Mr. Selph will be conducted on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 2:00pm in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Carroll and Bro. Steve Hammon officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, in Trenton.

He was born March 9, 1936, in Dyer, TN; the son of the late Hollis Brown & Berthal (Duck) Selph. He retired from Steel System constructing grain bins and farmed. Bobby was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church.

Loving wife survives him, Anna (Lindsey) Selph; three children, Julia Chapman (Brett), Gary Selph (Becky Jo), Nancy Selph; eight grandchildren, Ava Jo Selph, Emma Selph, Robert Thomas Selph, Anna Chapman, Justin Chapman, Cassie Lewis, Amber Lenderman, and Curtis Chapman. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Von Selph; son, Robert Eugene Selph; and uncle, Albert Selph.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm – 8:00pm on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Bobby Gene Selph.
