Billy Hensley

Mr. Billy Wayne Hensley, age 74 of Bradford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Baptist East Hospital - Memphis. Funeral services for Mr. Hensley will be conducted on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 3:00pm in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Damon Duck officiating. Interment will follow in Bradford Cemetery, in Bradford, TN. He was born January 5, 1943 in Trenton, TN; the son of the late Alfred Walter Hensley & Alma (Smith) Hensley. He was in the department of accounting & insurance at Jefferson Smurfit. He is survived by his wife, Glynda Hensley; one son, Geoffrey Hensley; and siblings, Frank Hensley (Betty Jean), Jean Carson (James). He was preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters, Reba Simmons, Pauline Bunch, Jewell Hensley, and Faye Campbell. Pallbearers will be Garry Lynn Hensley, Thomas (Tommy) Hensley, Adam Claybrook, John Claybrook, Larry (Butch) Bunch, and Joe Bunch. In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to be made to: The American Heart Association; American Cancer Society; or organization of your choice, in his name. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-3:00pm on Sunday, September 3, 2017, at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
