Billy Gene Carson

Mr. Billy Gene Carson, age 78 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services for Mr. Carson will be conducted on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 2:00pm at Oakwood Cemetery with Bro. John Coleman officiating. Interment will immediately follow.

He was born October 19, 1943, in Kenton, TN; the son of the late Robert & Mildred Perry Carson. He was owner of C&L Painting and attended New Bethlehem Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mrs. Dorathy Carson; daughter, Kristie Polizzi (Mark); niece, Kim Hughes, who is considered a second daughter and caregiver to Mr. Billy; siblings, Norma Workman, Diane Belote, James Carson, Joe Carson; and one grandchild, Carson Polizzi.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm – 1:45pm on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Billy Gene Carson.
