Billy Joe Foster

Mr. Billy Joe Foster, age 78 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at home. Funeral services for Mr. Foster will be conducted on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery, in Rutherford.

He was born November 15, 1941 in Glass, TN; the son of the late James Edward Foster, and Lema Bell Foster. He worked in the Agricultural Business for Centennial Grain, Wayne Feeds Division.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Foster; children, Gary Neal Foster, Shelia Diane Foster, Jeffrey Foster (Lee); seven grandchildren; great grandchild; and mother, Lema Bell Foster.  He was preceded in death by his father; daughters, Jody Lynn, Carolyn Sue; and sister, Carol Counce.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Billy Joe Foster.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials and donations be made to either:  Shrines Hospital, or American Heart Association.
