Beuna V. Sims

Ms. Beuna V. Sims, age 98 of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at NHC Healthcare. Funeral services for Ms. Sims will be conducted on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 2:00PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Criswell officiating. Interment will follow in Good Hope Cemetery in Dyer, TN.

She was born January 7, 1924, in Yorkville, TN; the daughter of the late Jennings Bryan Hundley and Benanna Spence Hundley. She was employed by Kellwood until her retirement.

She is survived by three children, Jimmy Sims (Cathy), Mickey Sims, and Steve Sims; and one sister, Leah Bryan Currey; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reese Sims; two daughters, Janet Laura Coleman, and Toni Rita Carlton; and one sister, Janie Hall.

The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Ms. Beuna V. Sims.
