Betty Lou Qualls

Betty Lou Qualls, age 69 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Qualls will be conducted on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 2:00pm in the chapel of China Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Marlon Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in China Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was born November 11, 1952, in Rutherford, TN; the daughter of the late Edward & Bessie Cleo Via Johnson.  She worked at Dyer Nursing home as a laundry attendant before her retirement and was a member of China Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by two nephews, Roger Qualls, Rodney Qualls; sister-in-law, Wilbur Gant; close family friends, Kim Curtis (Scott) and family; along with a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Freddie Qualls.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm – 2:00pm on Friday, April 22, 2022, at the chapel of China Grove Baptist Church. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Betty Lou Qualls.
