Betty Bullock

Mrs. Betty Ruth Gowan Bullock, age 73, of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away on April 14, 2013, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Bullock will be conducted on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the First Methodist Church of Dyer with Bro. Don Barnett and Bro. Harrell Nation officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery of Dyer. Mrs. Bullock was born June 17, 1939, in West Spring, South Carolina; the daughter of the late James Henry and Ruth Carter Gowan. She was a secretary at Wesley Tower’s Home for Aging before retirement. Mrs. Bullock is survived by her husband, Rev. Thomas A. Bullock; daughters, Gail (Bryan) Sharp of Dyer, Ann Tinker of Savannah; grandchildren, Erin Sharp, Matthew Jackson, Jennifer Jackson; great-grandchildren, Jacob Jackson, Shawn Jackson, Lauren Collins, Noah Collins; and brother, Jimmy (Dianne) Gowan. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 19 at Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer.
