Betty Arnold

Mrs. Betty Joyce Arnold, age 82, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on April 27, 2012, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Arnold will be conducted on Sunday, April 29, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Robert Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery of Dyer. Mrs. Arnold was born January 19, 1930, in Humboldt; the daughter of the late Lucas and Corenne Nix Peach. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Arnold was a member of Dyer First Baptist Church. Mrs. Arnold is survived by her son, Chuck Arnold and wife Star; one grandson, Cody Childress; and one brother, Larry Peach and wife Ailene. She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Fred Arnold; a brother, Douglas Peach and a sister, Martha English. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 28.
