Barbara Ann White

Mrs. Barbara Ann White, age 65 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on December 9, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. White  will be conducted on Friday, December 17th  at 1:00 PM in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Minister Tim White officiating. Interment will follow in Westside Cemetery in Kenton.

She was born January 27, 1956 in Union City,TN; the daughter of the late Melvin and Margie Watkins Turner. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. Her two boys were the pride of her life and she loved being their biggest supporter and their #1 fan. She was also known for her love of sports, especially basketball. She loved cheering on Gibson County and the Tennessee Lady Vols. She had a special love for the late coach Pat Summitt. She could also be found cheering on her grandkids just as she had her two boys.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Preston White ; sons and daughters- in-love Jason White (Sharon) and Juston White (Peggy); six grandchildren, Auston White, Issac White, Jacob White, Justyce White, Jaci White, and Laklyn White; and one precious great grandson, Drake Milan.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Richard Turner, Ruth Coble, Jerry Turner, Sr., Melvin Turner, Jr., and Carolyn Simpson.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Tony Simpson, Jr., Blake Simpson, Bryce Simpson, J.J. Coble, Steven Coble, and Lee Meeks.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Friday, December 17th. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Barbara Ann White.
