Barbara Dunivant

Barbara Dean Dunivant, age 66 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Dunivant will be conducted on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer with Bro. Eddie Hayes, and Bro. Damon Duck will be officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer, Tennessee. Barbara Dean Dunivant was born August 13, 1950 in Gibson Co. Tennessee; the daughter of the late Buck and Dorothy Ray Prater. Mrs. Dunivant worked in the Food Services at Joe and Deana’s By Pass Café, along with being a wonderful mother, grandmother, great–grandmother, and friend to all. Mrs. Dunivant was a member of the Old Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. Dunivant is survived by her husband, Robert Dunivant, one daughter Deana Oliver and husband Ricky, one son Talmadge Campbell, one granddaughter, Emily Bradford and husband Taylor, one great-granddaughter, Addy Bradford, one sister, Carolyn Cooper, and her uncle Johnny Needham. Mrs. Dunivant was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 in the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer.
