Barbara Conn

Mrs. Barbara Elaine Conn, age 68, of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on August 29, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Funeral services for Mrs. Conn will be conducted on Friday, August 31, at 12:00, in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford with Bro. Marlon Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery of Rutherford. Barbara was born August 29, 1943, in Dyer County, Tennessee; the daughter of Jo Ella Moore Luna and the late Luther Martin Hardwick. She worked as a certified nursing assistant at the Decatur County Manor in Parsons, Tennessee. Mrs. Conn is survived by her daughter, Beth Conn, her mother, Jo Ella Luna, and one brother, Frank Vinson Hardwick. She was preceded in death by her father, a son Brian Lance Conn, and a sister, Heloise Hardwick Stephens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon on Friday, August 31.
