Mrs. Annie Lavelle Sawyer, age 82 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Sawyer will be conducted on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 11:30 am in the chapel of New Concord Baptist Church with Bro. David Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in New Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was born November 23, 1937; the daughter of the late Harry & Moley Young Casteel. She was homemaker and member of New Concord Baptist Church.
She is survived by three children, Rebecca Oliver, Bobby Sawyer, Lori Sawyer; siblings, Norman Casteel, Freddy Casteel, Jack Casteel, Eloise Rose; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Raymon Sawyer.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the chapel of New Concord Baptist Church. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Annie Lavelle Sawyer.
