Alice Curtis

Mrs. Alice Dale Curtis, age 72, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on August 13, 2013, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Curtis will be conducted on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Bro. DeWayne Goodgine officiating. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery of Yorkville. Mrs. Curtis was born April 8, 1941, in Dyer County, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Hilzman and Ruth Edwards Moore. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Curtis was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Curtis is survived by her daughter, Barbara Horner; a son, Tim Curtis; five grandchildren, Jada Cruse, Thomas Turner, Alicia Buckingham, T.J. Curtis, Shanna Ambrose; five sisters, Virginia Boone, Judy Pope, Maggie Nee, Shelia Orlowski, Fredia Anderson; and two brothers, John Moore, and Kerry Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Alice Dale Curtis.
